By plane:

Vladivostok is connected with every large city of the Far East and Siberia, and also with Moscow and St Petersburg. Approximate flight from Vladivostok to Moscow time – 8 hrs.

Vladivostok international airport welcomes flights from South Korea, Japan, China, Hong Kong, North Korea.

Approximate flight time from Tokyo, Seoul or Beijing – 2 hrs.

Vladivostok international airport is located 44 kilometers away from the city. You can get to the city by the Aeroexpress train that departs from the terminal straight to the city center. Approximate travel time – 55 min. You can also take a taxi or a public bus. Public buses also go to nearby cities, like Artem, Nakhodka, Ussuriysk, etc.

By Ferry:

Ferry goes from South Korea and Japan.

Once a week from Sakaiminato (Japan) and Donghe (S. Korea) a ferry goes to Vladivostok. Approximate travel time from Donghe – 23 hrs.


By train:

Vladivostok is a place where the great Trans-Siberian Railroad starts. It goes through all Russia from Vladivostok to Moscow. Its total length is 9298.2 km (5774 mi) — it is the longest railroad in the world! It connect the Far East with the European part of Russia and with all the major cities.
