How to spend November holidays in Vladivostok?


The Far eastern capital is actively preparing for the upcoming holidays, which will be from 2 to 4 October. Even now, there are lots of events’ announcements on websites of local theatres, museums, restaurants, and educational centres etc.

The Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre prepared an amazing excursion, which lets all of its guests see normally invisible part of theatre’s work like processes of creation and preparation to performance. This excursion will take place on 2 November at 12 a.m.

During all these holidays the theatre will work in normal regime, so some of the famous performances, such as the “Sleeping Beauty” ballet (2 November), the “Tale of Tsar Saltan” opera (3 November), and the “Don Quixote” ballet (4 November) will be held according to usual schedule.

The Primorsky State Art Gallery has planned an all-Russian event – “The Night of Art-2019” on 3 November.

From 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. each of three museum halls (The main suites and the Main Hall on 12 Aleutskaya Street, and an exhibition halls on 12 Partizansky Prospekt) will provide an interesting show program, including concerts, blitz tours, theatrical performances, quiet hour with games, special orientated tours, and art lotto.

During the evening guests can enjoy some really interesting art exhibitions, including a permanent exhibition “Russian art of the 16th-early 20th centuries, “The picture composition. “Opyat’ Dvoika”, “Italian Collection” (painting of the XIV – beginning of XX centuries from the stock collection of the Primorsky State Art Gallery), the legendary “Botticelli”, and much more!

Are u sick of urban noise and fuss? Then prepare to leave this foggy place, because the Art-Park “Izumrudnaya Dolina” will conduct a colourful event, which is dedicated to autumn and harvesting. “Russian fair” will be held on 3 November. Event’s program includes an exhibition of agricultural products, plural master classes, folk games and a big feast. Entrance to the event is free.

The Primorsky Philharmonic Hall has its own plans on the very holidays. They decided to show a little bit of Italian charm to Vladivostok. For this reason, the performance of the concert program “Little Adonises” will take place on 2 November at 6 p.m.

It should be noted, that the Philharmonic will participate in the “The Night of Art -2019” event as well. From 3 to 4 November there will be an excursion, where guests lean lots of interesting information about Vladivostok, its theatres, and other cultural attractions.


The Academic Theater named after Maxim Gorky and its cultural program will help to deal with autumn grey days. On 2 and 3 November, people have an opportunity to visit the following performances: “Cinderella”, “Faithful Wife”, “Energetic people”, and “Warsaw Tune”. This unusual combination of comedy and magic will give you lots of energy for the next week.

Families from Vladivostok and just people who travel with children will be able to dive into Russian past and participate in “tasty” gingerbread painting workshop in the “Vavilovo Estate”. Event’s program includes 1,5 hours of creative process and fun, visiting of a unique museum of “Gingerbread Art” and a cute Flower Town. After that, you will be offered to eat your “creation” with a great aroma tea. This master-class will be held on 2, 3, and 4 November at 11 a.m.


If your main goal is to add to the sum total of knowledge about Russian history, then spend this free time visiting a unique exhibition “For service and courage. Russian Awards’ collection.” in the Arsenyev Museum. This brand new exhibition project covers the period from the end of the XVII century to the present time.

During an excursion, you will learn about the most important moments in Russian history. The museum provides these excursions three times a day – at 12 a.m., at 3 p.m., and at 5 p.m.

Traditionally, local tour companies make our mood better with their interesting tours to our lovely region. These holidays have not become an exception!

A tourist company “5 Stars” is offering you to climb the mystery “Pidan” or to visit the famous “Tobizin” cape, while “Fori Tour” is preparing a tour for you to the “Orlovskye” caves and on “Shaiginskoe” archaeological site.

During these holidays all offices of the Tourist Information Centre of Primorsky Region will work as regular. Guests of our region are welcome to ask for any information they need or to get a free city map.
