PTF-2017: MORE THAN 40 SPEAKERS, 55 STANDS AND MORE THAN 30 RESTAURANTS

In Primorye the organizers of the Third Pacific Tourist Forum discussed the key points of the preparation of the event.

As the director of the regional Department of Tourism Konstantin Shestakov noted, within the organization of the business program of the forum, active work is being done to attract Russian and foreign speakers to participate in thematic sessions and round tables of PTF-2017. To date, more than 40 experts are scheduled to speak; they will share their own vision of the development prospects of the tourism industry in the Northeast Asia region.

“Oleg Safonov, the head of the Federal Agency for Tourism, has already confirmed his participation in the forum. Also we are waiting for the Deputy Minister for the Development of the Far East of Russia Alexander Krutikov, the Director of the Department of Tourism and Regional Policy of the Ministry of Culture of Russia Olga Yarilova and other federal experts”, — Konstantin Shestakov said.

Among the foreign speakers there are experts fr om professional foreign tourist associations, representatives of the largest tourist companies and operators and participants of the International Forum of Northeast Asian Countries (IFNAT) fr om the Republic of Korea, China, Japan and Mongolia.

Also during the meeting, the organizers discussed preparations for the XXI Pacific International Tourism Expo. According to Boris Stupnitskiy, President of Primorskiy Chamber of Commerce and Industry, 55 stands have already been announced, where participants of the tourism industry of Russia, China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, Guam, Macao, Vietnam and other countries are presenting their tourist potential.

“The Primorskiy Territory will be represented by different organizations: Primorskiy Stage of Mariinskiy Theater, Oceanarium, regional art gallery and regional philharmonic society will demonstrate the possibilities of cultural recreation in the region, the Admiral hockey club and the PrimRing tourist cluster will entertain guests with sport events, tour companies and tour operators will offer programs of ecotourism with routes along taiga, rafting, visiting of unique nature monuments. Also, summer, recreational, sanatorium and other types of recreation will be presented”, — he said.

They also discussed the cultural and entertainment program. According to Boris Stupnitskiy, this year on the Embankment of the Far Eastern Federal University guests and residents of the region will attend a bright and colorful city holiday.

“As part of the Traveler’s Day festival we are preparing a large number of master classes in various areas, show programs and interactive venues. For example, throughout the territory we will place six booths of aqua-grime. In addition, more than 30 restaurants and cafes of Vladivostok will be located on the university embankment, wh ere you can taste Russian, Vietnamese, Japanese, Brazilian, Chinese and other national cuisines” — the president of the Primorskiy Chamber of Commerce and Industry reported.

Everyone may attend the entertainment events, which will be held May, 19-21.

We remind that the Third Pacific Tourist Forum will be held in Primorye May, 18-21, on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University. The program traditionally includes several blocks: the business part, wh ere the International Forum of Northeast Asian Nations was integrated for the first time, the 21st international tourism exhibition Pacific International Tourism Expo, the Vladivostok Boat Show and the Traveler’s Day Festival.

The Forum is organized by the Primorskiy Territory Tourism Department, ANO “Tourist Information Center of Primorskiy Territory”, the Primorskiy Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the support of the Federal Agency for Tourism.

This year, the event is dedicated to the development of cross-border routes between the countries of Northeast Asia, the Far East and Siberia.
