An extensive cultural program is prepared for the residents and guests of the Primorskiy Territory on the Russkiy Island and in the center of Vladivostok as part of the fourth Eastern Economic Forum.

According to the regional Department of Culture, concerts, performances and exhibitions, as well as concert programs at outdoor sites on the territory of the FEFU campus on the Russkiy Island and on the mainland of Vladivostok are held annually in the framework of the forum.

In addition, residents and visitors of the city will be able to visit the exhibition “Far Eastern Street”, where they will get acquainted with the best achievements, culture and traditions of all nine Far Eastern regions and other territories.

“The cultural program is an essential and one of the most important components of the Eastern Economic Forum, which is of great interest to the participants of the EEF, guests, media representatives, as well as residents of the city and the region. This year the format is especially relevant for our region, as the Primorskiy Territory celebrates its 80th anniversary, and the participation of eight neighboring regions in the concert program will become a real holiday on the eve of the main date,” - Vice-Governor of Primorye Konstantin Mezhonov said.

This year the main “mainland” stage will be located on the Sports Embankment. On this site, concerts for everyone will be held from 12 to 16 of September.

“From 12 to 14 of September, in the evening, from 6 p.m. on the FEFU campus three-hour concert programs will be organized with the participation of creative teams of the Far East,” - the regional department of culture notes.

September, 15 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. for Primorye residents and guests of the city there will be a concert with the participation of one of the most popular bands of Vladivostok “Coin”, and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. - a concert of the Variety Orchestra of the Primorye Regional Philharmonic with soloists conducted by Dmitry Butenko.

On September, 16 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. the Chamber Quartet of the Primorye Regional Philharmonic will perform, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. - the Pacific Symphony Orchestra with soloists conducted by the Honored Artist of Russia Anatoly Smirnov will present its program.

“Concerts of collectives, which by right can be called “a musical signature of Primorye”, will become a bright accent in the list of festive events dedicated to the anniversary of Primorye,” - the head of the department Vladimir Sokolov said.

We remind that the Eastern Economic Forum was established by the Decree of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin to promote the accelerated development of the economy of the Far East and the expansion of international cooperation in the APR.

According to Andrei Tarasenko, having approved Vladivostok as the venue for such a large-scale event as the EEF, the leadership of the country showed special attention to the Far East and Primorye, in particular.

The fourth Eastern Economic Forum will be held on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University on the Russkiy Island on September, 11-13. Representatives of about 20 foreign countries have already confirmed their participation in the event.
